The whole Dads and Daughters concept was strange and made it hard for me to actually get into the story and enjoy it. I find it hard to believe that dads would be okay “loaning” their own daughter to some lonely truck driver. The female character while I understand was young, she was just too immature and annoying for me to like. I wouldn’t say I was impressed or blown away with this story...more like I was left scratching my head and saying “WTF?” “Dads and Daughters” is a taboo outlet for lonely long-haul truckers when they are away from home. The single Dad is involved only if his 18yo daughter is also involved or promised. It’s an exclusive club which only a few know about. What happens when Marni’s BFF starts talking about her first time and it will be with Marni’s father?! Things get revealed in more ways than one ;-)Marni’s best friend Jess is going on and on about how good-looking Marni’s father is and that she can’t wait. When Marni finds out why Jess is talking about her father, she blows a gasket. But when Marni approaches her father about her new knowledge, what happens? How do Jess’s Dad and Stepdad play a part?In the meantime, Jess’s Dad, Tex and her stepdad, Rex have been thinking about their daughter’s best friend.
